Tea Time

Picquot Ware T6.  It has a nice patina inside and pours beautifully.  I wonder about that top piece of wood though. Someone put some effort into that.

My work setup.  I open the bags and pour through my strainer.  It makes a difference. BA replaced that china pattern in the mid-90's and we were told at the time to throw it into the dumpster (wink wink) as they didn't want to pay to ship it back.

  1. Looks like a well loved teapot! I've been exploring black loose-leaf teas lately, after spending last year pretty obsessed with Japanese greens (still my primary hot beverage). At least it's cheaper and simpler than coffee...

Sipping smoky Lapsang Souchong today, brewed up in the little rose-colored Pristine England teapot I found for $4 at Goodwill about a week back. I am so very pleased with that thing.
